In this week's TONEDEAF!... yuri?????

I'm fully moved in now!!! Kind of. I officially as of today am in my new place with no access to my old place, and all of my stuff is here, but don't get me wrong; every room is a mountain of boxes, so I hardly feel settled. Art may continue to be a little slow for this week, but I'm hoping to eek out one more art fight tomorrow and to get some more work on pages done somewhere in there as well. Wish me luck!!

[PANEL 1]
Rhapsody, with a hand on Mazurka's shoulder, gestures her forwards towards Humdrum.
RHAPSODY: Humdrum, this is Mazurka. She's one of my coworkers.
Maz looks down at Rhapsody with a flat expression.
MAZ: Just Maz is fine.

[PANEL 3]
A highly detailed bust shot of Humdrum. Her face and hair is more detailed than the rest of the comic, especially her eyes, and sparkles line the corners of the panel. She speaks while still shaking Maz's hand.
HUMDRUM: Hi Maz. I'm Humdrum.

[PANEL 4]
Mazurka, quite small in the panel, shakes Humdrum's hand back, looking down at her with an intense blush and nervous eyes.
MAZ: H-... Hi.

Author's Notes

Who's that green dialogue bubble?? It's another new character!! :D Look forward to next week, where the character page will have it's first new addition since launch.

Also, I'm actually mostly settled in the new place now (thank GOD). Last week I had basically JUST gotten moved in, so I was anticipating doing more art this past week. The reality ended up being that I desperately needed to unpack at least some stuff (which turned into MOST stuff) because I just couldn't relax without doing so. Thankfully, I now have a pretty decent workspace and have most of my game collection set back up. Meaning I plan on getting back to more consistent art this week finally!

[PANEL 1]
Humdrum listlessly takes a piece of gum out of a pack she's holding. She seems more disinterested in the conversation now, after the initial excitement died down.
HUMDRUM: Well, what brings you two in? You haven't stopped by in forever.
Rhapsody looks to the side with a slightly embarrassed expression, putting her hand loosely on her hip.
RHAPSODY: H-hey, it's not been THAT long...
Behind her, Mazurka blushes and rubs the back of her neck with her hand while looking away from the conversation. Her tail is involuntarily wagging.

[PANEL 2]
Humdrum puts the piece of gum in her mouth with gently closed eyes.
HUMDRUM: I bet you a coffee Amp doesn't even remember you.
Rhapsody, in the foreground, yells at Humdrum with an indignant expression.
RHAPSODY: OF COURSE SHE REMEMBERS ME!!

[PANEL 3]
Rhapsody takes a step back and puts both of her hands up and closing her eyes with a confident smile.
RHAPSODY: Okay, okay, you're right. I'm here with an important question:

[PANEL 4]
Rhapsody, with an extremely exaggerated lean forwards, puts her hand on her hip and points towards Humdrum (the viewer).
RHAPSODY: How would YOU like to-

[PANEL 5]
NEW CHARACTER, interrupting Rhapsody from off-page: HUMDRUM!!
Rhapsody is in the same pose as panel 4, but now with a shocked expression.
