Thank you so much to Berry for this absolutely GORGEOUS piece of Humdrum!!! God this piece is so beautiful, and it has permanently influenced Humdrum's clothing. That garterbelt is genuinely a mainstay in her fit now lol.

When I finally started making actual comic pages in Spring of 2023, I commissioned four artists to each draw a character to be put together into a single phone background for my new phone (at the time). When I finally started making actual comic pages in Spring of 2023, I commissioned four artists to each draw a character to be put together into a single phone background for my new phone (at the time). I then used that background for an entire 3 years (I only finally changed it early June 2026 lol).
I think similar to the other artists’ picks, Berry chose Caprice because she hadn’t drawn her yet. But she did a phenomenal job!! I love how she looks so much :3

Kay at this point was a close friend of mine, and she specifically chose Humdrum because she loved her design the most. It’s hard to blame her.

Having Rachel be one of the four artists was a huge deal for me, because her comic JUICEBOX (read about it on the About page!) was a massive inspiration for TONEDEAF!

Rhapsody

Hoshi is also a close friend of mine, so it was a no-brainer to get her to draw one of them! I think she drew Rhapsody because she was the only one who hadn’t drawn Rhapsody at some point hahaha.

The very first commission I ever got of the Tonedeaf girls!! Absolutely in love with this piece and it genuinely influenced how I drew them myself moving forwards (in particular, Caprice's ears! I love the shape they were given here). Fun fact: This is the first time anyone other than myself drew any TONEDEAF characters! TONEDEAF! Full Band Polaroid
The first time I had drawn them all together in an actual scene!! This picture remains the album art for my personal Google Photos album that I use for all TONEDEAF! art. It's desperately in need of a redraw, but I'm still fond of the composition.
