I spent a crazy amount of time on background details so please zoom in and enjoy them. Let me know what fake album/band/whatever is your favorite from these!

RHAPSODY: Ah, look! There it is!

[PANEL 2]
A small panel just to house a speech bubble. The background is the sky, indicating the characters are still outside.
RHAPSODY: Maz, allow me to welcome you...

RHAPSODY: ...to ASHWELL--
The left-half of a full two-page spread (panels 1 and 2 only take up a small section of the top of this page). Rhapsody, in the distance on the left, slams open the doors to a vinyl retail shop. The camera is pointed to the perpendicular wall of the shop and shows both the far left (where Rhapsody and Maz stand in the entrance) and the far right walls of the room, distorted through a fisheye lens. This page itself only shows the left half of the room. On the wall surrounding the entrance are a ton of posters depicting different bands and different in-universe concerts, including Anemoia's "The Outcast Tour", Bitten's 2024 Tour, The Strays' "Claw Tour", J.J. and Hawkins' Solo Tour. A display cabinet locked shut can be seen with different signed albums in it. There are shelves of vinyl records behind the view of the camera that can only be partially be seen due to the warp of the camera.

As said on the previous page, this is the second half of our first two-page spread!! So if you're only seeing this page in single-page mode and missed the previous one, make sure to turn back one page! I highly recommend viewing these in double-page mode for the full experience, though >:3

And she's finally here!!! Officially and in the flesh, it's Humdrum in the modern day. I hope you're as excited about a new main character as I am :3

In other news, this Sunday, 07/12, marks 1-month since I launched TONEDEAF!, and it has been a crazy month filled with new experiences, new friends, lots of learning, and more stress than I've known what to do with. I may make a blog post on Sunday sharing some thoughts and feelings, so look out for that if you're interested!

ALSO don't forget I'm active on art fight!! I've already done 3 attacks (more than I expected to have done by this point to be honest). If you want me to maybe draw your characters (no guarantees), DM or @ me your art fight and I'll check them out!

RHAPSODY (cont. from previous page): --RECORDS!!
The right-half of a full two-page spread. This continues the same shot of the store, warped with a fish-eye lens so that we can see an entire stretch of the store from left-side to right-side (this page shows the right side). Humdrum sits at a desk towards the center of the page, looking up with a surprised expression. Her head was resting on her left hand before being surprised, and her right arm, holding her cell phone, rests on the desk as if she was scrolling aimlessly. Humdrum's hair is dyed a deep purple with pink highlights, and she's wearing a pink jacket over a gray tube shirt. There is a computer and card reader on the desk, showing this is where customers checkout. Behind Humdrum is a large sign reading "LOCAL ARTIST OF THE MONTH" with a Vinyl below it entitled "trill - Hands Tied" and depicting a fox with her hands tied with ribbon. In the further distance, towards the right side of the page, is an employees only door with two characters in front of it, alongside a pile of boxes. One of them is a white poodle, wearing a red beanie, black Tshirt with red striped undershirt and on her phone with both hands. Next to her is a raccoon in a blue polo shirt and khakis carrying one of the boxes. Both characters are looking towards Rhapsody in confusion/surprise as well.
