And so it begins!

"The Way She Listened" isn't actually the first chapter of TONEDEAF!, nor is it technically a prologue or prequel... but I made it before starting Track One (the first chapter), and I've grown accustomed to it fitting in as a "recommended (borderline required) reading" before diving into the main story. It's a short and sweet(?) story that provides some important context on some of our main characters.

This cover was actually made in-between pages 3 and 4 and was originally completed on May 30th, 2023. It was made largely to get myself accustomed to making graphic-novel style pages before starting the "main thing," as I had never done so before! I kept it at four pages despite it slowly growing in size dialogue-wise simply because I didn't want it to scope-creep into a story that took months and months to complete (the existing four pages already took me a whopping 3 months... thankfully I've gotten much faster since).
